CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OFFICE
ADMINISTRATION
Nevena, JoAnne and Pam make up our formidable team that handles
our client enquiries. They provide product samples as needed and
work with our clients and suppliers in verifying orders, and dealing
with any issues that arise. Our administrative team also controls
our company accounts and bookkeeping, as well as performs a host
of other duties. They have fun at what they do, and genuinely enjoy
the client/supplier interaction.

THE ASSEMBLY CREW
Responsible for all of our assembly operations, our fun loving,
happy team members are cross trained in all functions and can move
wherever their talents are needed. They continually suggest productivity
improvements and participate in implementing them. As in all areas
of production at Globe Stamping, the Assembly Crew takes great care
and responsibility for quality control, having been known to stop
production if they are not happy with the quality of the components
they are assembling. They all enjoy their work and have developed
a congenial atmosphere in their area. |

PRESS OPERATIONS Our
press operators drive Globe's stamping and hand feed presses. Each
individual is highly trained and capable of tool set up and take
out, as well as running a multiplicity of presses through our press
automation equipment. They are very much aware of the importance
of quality and work hard to give our clients the products they want
within "spec." every time. |

ELECTROPLATING This
"Dynamic Duo" ensure that our barrel electroplating department
at Globe consistently operates at peak performance through effective
plating scheduling for clients that require immediate delivery of
product. They are masters of maintaining optimum plating "baths"
chemistry, and equally as diligent in working with our water treatment
system to ensure our water discharge is within regulatory limits.

TOOLING AND ENGINEERING
Glenn Penney
Glenn has been with Globe off and on throughout his career, and keeps coming back!
Glenn is our resident Senior Toolmaker with over 25 years experience, both here at Globe and in several other metal stampings organizations. During that time Glenn has amassed a wealth of experience in die design, CAD work, tool maintenance, tool building, equipment repair and new machine building. Glenn is involved in regular die maintenance, new tool builds, new die design activities and also supervises our resident apprentice when "in residence". In his spare time, Glenn spends much of his time with his family, and is enrolled with his daughter Sara in Jujitsu. When he really wants to get away, he heads for the wilderness with friends in a canoe. |

Dennis Mitchell
We are pleased to announce the addition of Dennis Mitchell to the
Globe Team effective June 2009. Dennis is a recent graduate from
Conestoga College in the Mechanical Engineering Technology and Automated
Manufacturing Program. Dennis joins us in the capacity of Quality
Co-coordinator/CAD Specialist. Dennis works very closing with our
Tool Room detailing their designs into our Solidworks system. Dennis
also works closely with Scott Peers, Traffic Co-coordinator/QMR
assisting with maintaining and follows up to ensure our Quality
System is being followed. Dennis loves animals and enjoys spending
his spare time with his dog, hiking, canoeing and spending time
with friends. Dennis is also a new baker and trying his hand at
making chocolate chip cookies!

Manuel Barbosa
Manuel also brings much experience in the manufacturing environment. He has over twenty-five years of knowledge in this area. He has supervised several large departments within the metal stamping and manufacturing environment and has experience in several of our other department's disciplines. His responsibilities include the scheduling of our pressroom, controlling our steel inventory and acquiring as necessary, as well as coordinating the production workflow with the other section heads. Manuel spends some of his "down" time camping and enjoying time with family and friends. |

Leo Alvernaz
Leo Alvernaz is our Maintenance Engineer. He is responsible for plant, equipment and grounds issues. He works out of our Toolroom and typically assists in Tool and Die maintenance, new product development, equipment repair and rebuild, new prototype client install, new prototype product development, as well as general grounds maintenance. Leo, like many of our employees, is a “long timer”, with over 20 years commitment to Globe. We value his contributions, and he is constantly working “in the background” to help bring our clients quality products, on time. When Leo is not providing important assistance to the Globe operation, he enjoys time with his family and is somewhat of an “Expert” at developing fine Portuguese homemade wines. |

TRAFFIC COORDINATION
Although traffic coordination is a one man operation, you will
not believe what gets done at Globe by our "main man",
Scott. In at the crack of dawn (sometimes earlier), he has the area
organized in military fashion, knows where everything is, and gets
orders out professionally packed. Incoming supplies are given the
same attention to detail ensuring that relevant departments get
their components in compliance with what was ordered. He is the
"go to" guy for all traffic issues.

MARKETING Doug
is an independent manufacturers' representative who joined the Globe
Stamping personnel team and agreed to coordinate sales activity,
initially for our furniture glide product line, but "morphed"
into handling all sales in general. He is the main contact for all
our other manufacturers' representatives, and contributes to the
management executive with his sales and marketing acumen. As we
continue to develop our network of manufacturers' reps, Doug will
be an integral part of the process.
