Alan purchased Globe Stamping following a career in computer operations,
starting at the University of Waterloo, and ending in 1980 after
assisting in a national online banking computer conversion project
for one of our largest national banks. Alan also learned the ins
and outs of running a business from his father's vast experience
in the manufacturing world, apprenticing with him over a period
of seven years before his father retired officially in 1987.
Alan loves what he does at Globe Stamping. He is a man who truly
believes that work isn't a big deal if you do what you love. He
is proud of the business, especially its employees, but he also
stresses the fact that Globe is a down-to-earth "metal basher" that
simply focuses on doing a good job.
Alan and his wife Barbara have three grown children, Sarah, Matt
and Jeff. |
