Globe Stamping Receives Final Patent
Approval for The E Z LIFT®
KITCHENER, ON – Globe Stamping is pleased
to announce that final approval from the United States Patent Office
has been received for several unique features of the E Z Lift®
Ergonomic Height Adjustable Worksurface Mechanism.
"This patent protection will allow our distributors,
Manufacturers representatives and sales people to market our E Z
Lift® arm without worrying about competing against 'knockoffs’,”
stated Alan Jones, President of Globe Stamping.
The EZ Lift® arm is simple
in design and function, and is cost effective. The EZ Lift®
design allows for flexibility in both the size of the secondary
worksurface, as well as vertical height adjustment.
"Our arm includes several design enhancements which serves
as a much better product, and the patent protection recognizes these
features, and will allow us to pursue our target markets,"
Jones said.
The arm has a low profile below the worksurface to minimize operator
interference and maximize knee space. The tubular design allows
for the operating mechanism to be hidden
and out of the way. The streamlined tubular frame design also
eliminates pinch points during operation.
The height adjustment is a simple paddle activated system with an
infinite range. The unit also provides a tilt adjust range of +
or – 15 degrees by using a lever actuator, if the operator
so requires.
"We have put a lot of effort into the development of this unit,
and are convinced that it is significantly better than anything
currently on the market. We are very encouraged by the positive
interest being shown and we expect some significant announcements
soon," concluded Jones.
